OC Overview (General)

Tabletop

Velofnir Hraesvelgr (she/her) [personal profile] lizardtits
Wild, Inventive, All-or-Nothing
A bronze dragonborn with an inability to control her innate magical power. She embraces her tendency towards chaos and combines it with a morbid intellectual curiosity, inflicting and gifting the world in equal measure with both magic and machine. Velo is the type to see a problem and, instead of work through it, upend the table and work around it before anyone else gets a handle on what's going on. Risky, but as she would put it, if the odds of victory are near zero, throw away the odds.

<Crimeny T Gibbet (he/they)
Analytical, Criminal, Hoarding
A warforged with an artificial soul. Born from arson and raised by larceny, this robot may as well be the patron saint of crime, and yet fate has decided that they work for a detective agency. While they have since learned to be selfless and work for the greater good, their methods still lean more utilitarian than most would find comfortable. They are not above arson, murder, or crippling psychological trauma if it means helping those they care about. Also seems to think anything and everything is a potential tool to be taken and saved for later.

<Eo Tyr (she/her)
Rowdy, Mischievous, Free
A fairy noble who assaulted a foreign dignitary out of boredom, got sent to maximum-security prison, broke out with pirates, and who viewed all of that as a direct improvement over her life beforehand. She wanted nothing more than to be a free spirit, and piracy gave her that and more. Now she can devote her single brain cell wholly to protecting the crew that actually loves and appreciates her by punching and suplexing whatever poor sod tries to give them a bad time.

MMO

<Patchi Conniassaince (she/her) [personal profile] oftheblackandviolet
Lazy, Efficient, Practical
A Sharlayan scholar who left the Studium to practice Eorzean black magic. Despite what one may assume seeing the other researchers that come out of Sharlayan, she has very little interest in the tedium and long hours of dedication that academia requires, instead opting to finish jobs quickly, thoroughly, and efficiently so she can go back to doing as little as possible.
As WoL: The universe, however, was not amenable to her interests, twisting fate to send her on all number of god-slaying, goverment-toppling escapades to keep her from taking so much as a nap. But, if she doesn't become a one-woman army every time some Ascian or Garlean looks at her or her friends funny, bad things will happen.
As adventurer: She operates mostly out of La Noscea, where she is able to make a tidy living for herself. Turns out, the looming threat of destructive fire on a boat out at sea is enough of a deterrent to any would-be pirates that she can take it easy most of the time.

Getsuei Aspenstar (she/her) [personal profile] espercially
Sassy, Scientific, Violent
An Aurin botanist dispatched to the newly-discovered planet of Nexus in order to catalogue the local plant life and establish sources of agriculture and medicine for the colonists coming to live on the planet. She is dedicated to her job, but Nexus is a hostile place, and in order to survive out there, one must be a little hostile themselves. Not that this is a problem for the girl, being an esper who can dish out as much pain with her mind as most others can with a gun.

Other

Zephyr Taiyoh (she/her) [personal profile] butlaserstho
Energetic, photosynthetic, noodle incident expert
It is impossible to tell whether fate favors this girl, or if her very existence spits in the face of a deterministic worldview. This energetic tanuki seems to be a magnet for strange, unexplainable phenomena. Some may be directly her fault, but others defy all logic. She is unrelentingly supportive to any who would listen no matter what they wish to do, to the point that some may consider it enablement.
AU Info:
RWBY: Leader of Team ZYMN. Possesses the ability to take energy from sunlight. On a sunny day, there is no stopping her. On a rainy day or after sundown... results may vary.
Knight Engine: The pilot of a magitech mech called the Beaming Botany. Armed with a giant laser and spear, she forms the heavy-hitting back ranks of her unit. Or she should in theory. In practice, who knows what she might do.

Anaya Cojocaru (she/her)
Fiery, snarky, streetwise
A short, stocky fennec that grew up on the streets. Ended up attempting to vandalize a godess' temple turning a ceremony and ended up with a job as a priestess herself. She's prickly and not very sociable, but is surprisingly adept at healing, much to her chagrin. She tries her hardest to appear like a tough thug that people don't want to mess with, but fate always seems to put her in situations where she ends up helping and making friends. Could it be divine intervention, or is the grumpy facade something of a front? Perhaps it's a little of both.

Castal (he/they)
Ordered, Thoughtful, Methodical
A freelance artificer and magic item craftsperson. While not the best with the traditional dungeon-delving adventurer experience, they can hold their own enough to have a good understanding of what an adventurer requires out of their equipment, and has carved a good niche in the magic item trade because of it. They've come to enjoy the challenge of commissions of custom pieces of equipment, especially since adventurers are usually more than willing to go out of their way in sourcing strange and esoteric materials for use.

Kassan (he/him) [personal profile] vulteran
Jaded, Snarky, Depressed
A Delphox abandoned by their trainer for not being "powerful" enough, despite having been that trainer's very first Pokemon. He decided to try and make his own way, instead of being abandoned in a box like so many other Pokemon before him. Now known as that stray Delphox in Lumiose City, he makes his living doing odd jobs or battling passing trainers.

Always label your merchandice, kids. [NSFW]

In a quiet corner of this particular town's red light district exists a small, rather unassuming shop. In contrast to the loud, gaudy signs and lights of the other establishments on the street, the only thing that marks this building is a quaint hanging wooden sign that reads "Consentacles" accompanied by some purple and black tentacles holding bottles of varying liquids. The inside of the shop is just as unassuming, nothing but rows and rows of potions broken up by what look to be toys and the occasional rack of clothing for sale. It's all softly lit with a pleasant smell of incense.

It isn't until one starts to inspect some of the merchandise that the true nature of the shop is revealed: growth potions, shrinking elixirs, draughts for stamina, animal ears, mermaid tails, you name it. Every sort of fetish one might have that could be realized with some magic drink is there, all neatly labeled and organized with a short description of how it works. It may be a sex shop, but the owner has standards.

Speaking of which, the one responsible for the store can be found near the back behind a counter. A tall, shapely woman with a pale complexion and long, messy dark hair, just one pointed hat short of your stereotypical witch. She seems to be busy with brewing a batch of potions, judging by the large, bubbling cauldron and the open bottles on the counter filled with something or other, presumably waiting to be labeled and put on the shelf.

There's a lot of bottles on that counter, though. Probably more than should be there. Oh well.
